Communities of color have historical reasons to distrust banks. In California, 20% of Black, 15% of Hispanic, and 18% of American Indian households are unbanked. Yet with the right financial tools, entrepreneurship can break cycles of poverty and build generational wealth. We are bringing these tools to historically excluded entrepreneurs by granting approval authority to organizations already working in these neighborhoods. We are leveraging its greatest resource: Community.

With immense gratitude to our funding partner:

FOUND/LA supports local entrepreneurs to help them build their business, purpose, and community. They love nothing more than seeing a smart idea come to life. That’s why they connect future and existing business owners—particularly women, immigrants, and minorities—with resources to help them succeed. That includes funding, educational tools, incubator-style workshops, unique mentorship opportunities, and most importantly, a community of other local entrepreneurs.
